MEET THE TEAM
BRUNILDA EVGENIA MALO
She is an honored graduate of the violin class of Tatsis Apostolidis in the Athens Conservatory and a graduate of the Musical Studies Department of the University of Athens. She has collaborated with the Athens State Orchestra, the Orchestra of the National Opera, the National Symphony Orchestra of ERT and several classical chamber music ensembles. From 1996 to 2000 she was a member of the Orchestra of Colours and since 1997 she is a permanent member of the Symphony Orchestra of Athens as Assistant Principal in the first violins. She has recorded on several albums of artists with whom she has participated in many concerts in Greece and abroad. She participates in several bands of classical and contemporary music and she is also performing at various events as a solo electric violin.
Violin & Viola
Polina Koumi began violin lessons at the age of 7 and in 2003 she has completed her diploma exams with honors and first prize in the class of Margarita Plesti. Alongside, she has taken viola lessons with Paris Anastasiadis and in 2007 she graduated also with honors and first prize. She has participated in master classes of G. Zhislin, B. Hartog and R. Moog among others. From 2005 to 2008 she was a member of the Athens State Orchestra. She has also collaborated with the Orchestra of the National Opera and the Symphony Orchestra of ERT. Since 2001 she is a permanent member of the Symphony Orchestra of Athens. She has recorded music for albums of various artists, for films and plays and she teaches violin and viola at Orfeion Music School of Athens.
She began violin lessons at the age of 5 and in 2011 she graduated from Orfeio Athens Conservatory with honors. She continues her postgraduate studies at Vorarbelger Landeskonservatorium, in Feldkirch, Austria, in the class of professor Rudens Turku. Previously a member of the symphony orchestras ASON and Camerata Junior of the Athens Concert Hall, she has performed in numerous chamber music concerts in Greece and abroad. Today she is an active member of the chamber orchestra Montfort Kammerorchester Feldkirch.
Aikaterini (Kiara) Konstantinou was born in Athens in 1992. She took her first piano lessons at the age of 8 with Maria Papadaki. In 2004, she got accepted in the Music School of Alimos, where she started cello lessons with Christina Koutrou. Two years later, she also starts cello lessons with Nikolaos Kotzias in Athens Conservatory and then in Orfeio Athinon Conservatory. In June 2016 she received her Cello Diploma with Nikolaos Kotzias, graduating with honors and second prize.
